Concord's Summer Reading Program
If you missed the sign-up, feel free to print your own calendars and join us!
Details: Students record daily reading minutes on a reading calendar. The goal is to read at least 15 minutes at least 5 days each week (or 25 of the 35 days on the calendar). If unable to read the full 15 minutes on their own, students in K-1 may count minutes read to them. At the end of each five week reading calendar, an adult signs the calendar to verify the minutes recorded are accurate. Students who meet the reading goal bring their completed reading calendar to a summer reading celebration to receive a free paperback book. Reading calendars can also be redeemed during the first week of school in the media center. Students may participate by completing either the first, second or both reading calendars. |
